Hello folks who wonder if Silicon Valley will ever stop launching new food delivery services to have your lukewarm French fries delivered to your doorstep,
I have given some talks in the past, and I’d like to share them with you today.Last year, I gave a 5 minute talk about ants where I try to highlight some themes humans can learn from ants at work.
If the video doesn't load, you can watch it on YouTube here.
Recently I gave a 5 minute talk about wasps where I "try" to sell wasps as more than just tuna sandwich thieves for people who don't know the difference between a cockroach and a beetle.

I'll be presenting at the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory's virtual event in two weeks. My talk will explore how bird enthusiasts can discover similar joy and fascination in the world of insects. I'll discuss how birders can deepen their appreciation of nature by embracing the observation of insects.

Next week, we'll get back to my usual rants about overpriced avocado toast and gas station sushi.
