A closer look at the unexpected
Anna Hummingbird nestlings screaming to be fed.
Just look at them now, those once tiny hatchlings grown into strikingly handsome birds.
An unfortunate midge found itself ensnared in the intricate web of a Trashline Orbweaver spider. As the orbweaver positioned itself in front of its writhing prey, it was clear this arachnid predator would feast well today. For the midge, however, this would be its final morning.
The inflated egos of these male peafowl, or peacocks, roaming some of our urban parks need to be kept in check.
On my walk back home, I found myself in a tense standoff with a rat.
For goodness sake, get a room!
Hooded mergansers can be found swimming in the waters of our local creeks.
